A chance for a change

  • by

What do I think? I think that rights ought not depend on state of residency, whether that be the right to vote or the right to possession of drugs. If it were up to me, everyone would possess the right to vote upon reaching the age of 18 without having to register, and that right would never be revoked except upon proof of death. Further, everyone across the country would enjoy the equal right to purchase and possess the same kinds of drugs for the same purposes. But it is, of course, not up to me. In the meantime, however, the citizens of Florida have a chance to address a very meaningful part of this great injustice. I hope they seize it.
