I agree the whole thing should be a non-issue but in the interests of accuracy I haven't seen anyone claiming the issue was that she was topless, all the fuss has been about whether photos taken surreptitiously of someone who thought they were out of public view should be published.
Matt, I have not been following it closely at all. But I think the fact that she was topless is what made it an especially big deal to everyone involved, and if that hadn't been the case this would be nearly a non-story. If you disagree, well, I would ask why the Duchess of Cambridge doesn't regularly go out in public without her top on.
I haven't followed either and I agree there would be a lot less fuss if they weren't topless photos. I was responding to Miriam's comment, which I read as suggesting there was some kind of outcry of 'how dare she take her top off', which doesn't seem to be the case.
I prefer the spelling "Buck nekkid", but either way I'd love to see your suggestion taken up by the couple. Hell, if they want to inflate such nonsense into "news", then why not give them so much of it that they choke on it?
Haha, I second this.
Why is it a big deal that she sunbathed topless in a place where sunbathing topless is completely acceptable?
